From 13min left in the 2nd half, it was clear we had no offensive game plan once we weren't able to get the ball down low.

No adjustments and no solutions.

Was hard to watch.

What are you talking about? With 8 minutes left we had 70 points. We ended the game with 79. 9 points in the final 8 minutes and offense wasn't the problem?

They were at the very least equal causes. We had absolutely no offensive identity.

Payne had 26 and only got three touches the last 13 minutes of the game. During which time we were outscored 40-19.

Criminal incompetence at that end.

Accurate. The buzz ceiling is low because his Xs and Os aren't up to par. His pep talks are elite, but that can only get you so far.

It's been that way all season. We have 1 avenue to win, and can't find another path if that gets taken away.

Our offensive identity in the second half was to drive out of control to the basket and hope the refs called a foul before we threw up a low percentage shot or turned it over.

The inability to use Payne will be the great mystery of this season. The guy only produced every time he had the opportunity and he even made free throws. And we'd go away from him like he had measles every time he started to roll. Just bizarre.
I resolve in 2026 to be more tolerant and respectful of trolls and emotionally fragile, overly pessimistic posters so they don’t run crying to the mods and have me banned for three days.

Bottom line is Buzz forgot Payne was being a force under the basket. As a result Payne didn't attempt a single shot in the last seven minutes of the game.

We can't shoot. We never could. Our most reliable outside shooter is the Dominican Rodman.

Our best scorer went 1-8 outside.

Two of our starters combined for 2 points in 35 minutes.

Find some Buzz guys that can also shoot the damn basketball.

Tell me you know nothing about the analytics of the offense. It's about free throws and rebounds. That's how we've fielded top 50 offenses with limited shooting. Did you just figure out that this team that was top 20 all year long doesn't shoot well?

We play defense and get rebounds and stopped doing both effectively.

If your argument is that scoring more points is better, then I agree. If you think that was the key to the run then I disagree.

Both can be true. Rebounds are a big part of our offense.
