Your coach is a class act. Be patient, because part of being able to recruit well is having the reputation of being the type of coach that can mold their sons into solid citizens. If you're upset with how the season ended that's fine. Fans have a right to be passionate even if their expectations are a little out of whack, but keep in mind A&M had a better season than Kansas did. And you all had a better season that my longhorns by far. Give Buzz a couple more years. At some point the revolving door of coaches does more harm than good. Hell, if you don't want him, we'll take him at the forty acres. Congrats on a solid year.

Buzz is the basketball version of RC. If we run Buzz off then the program will be cursed for the next several decades. I am a Buzz guy and I want to see what he can do next year.

Johnny - I agree 100% Buzz deserves two more seasons. If this were Bill Self's first or second year at Kansas, KU fans would be decorating his lawn with "for sale" signs. Buzz earned a 4 seed, and had a better season than Kansas. That should count for something.

Football and basketball playoffs / tournaments are crap shoots. The best team doesn't always win. It's a one game crap shoot. I prefer winners to be decided by best of 3, best of 5, or best of 7 series.
I'm sorry, but Buzz is who Buzz is. What we had this year is as good as we will have any year with Buzz as the coach.
If we are happy with the results then we should keep Buzz.
Now a really good coach like John Cal came in to a terrible situation in AR and turned the team around. AR was bad at the start of the season and they are still playing. We were i think getting worse towards the end of the season.

Buzz is super fun to watch. He wears snappy clothes, he's too excited to stay in the coaches box, gives interviews about ancient philosophies, nurtures players through racial threats, occasionally gets an upset win, etc. Buzz belongs at A&M

Buzz is average and people who want to keep buzz after 7 years are ok with average.

I went to Reed to watch Ags BTHO Arky Last month. Cal and Arkansas were fortunate to even make the NCAAT.
Aggies got a bad match-up for the Round of 32 game.
If Texas A&M played St. John's (like Cal and Arky did), I think the Aggies would've won and advanced as well.

I like Buzz and don't think we should make a change. So, while we respect what he does to build young men and wouldn't change that, it shouldn't mean we can't be more successful in the post season. He must find a way to get past the second round or he's not earning his pay.
The lack of offensive scheme, leading to massive scoring droughts almost every game, was going to eventually kill us. And it predictably did. This is Buzz ball, like it or not.
Buzz isn't getting fired, so I don't understand the post. If he leaves, it'll be on his own accord, not us running him off. Also, your school would eat buzz alive. It's not a culture fit. tu doesn't care about high character coaches. You only got rid of Beard because it was so egregious and every day news that you had to.
Kids with an NBA future aren't necessarily going to gravitate toward the class act coach.
They're gonna seek out the coach that's been there, done that, finds the spotlight, and wins games of relevance.
The kids who seek out the class act coach are the next tiers down, essentially doubling up on a guy who is a life coach who also coaches basketball.
We're just never going to get it.
You could replace Buzz with Calipari, Pitino, Wooden, Coach K and Bobby Knight collectively, and we'd still get the same results. How many more embarrassing failures could a fanbase possibly need to see before it accepts that Texas A&M is the problem? It always has been. Year after year after year, sport after sport after sport, failure after failure after failure.
You see it on these boards every day. Refusing to hold the administration, coaches and players responsible or accountable in any way. Then getting people who try to, banned and labeled "sip trolls".
Sunshine pumping, our inferiority complex towards tu and our school's culture breeds results like yesterday. It's never going to change.
