Another Payne topic. But I'm excited to see an offense run primarily through Payne. assuming he stays of course. He played with more fire than anyone else on the team by far. He is the leader the locker room needs
there is no doubt with a year of hard work payne has the ability to be an absolutely elite player. his confidence was starting to take off and he was taking over games. any starting five that starts with payne and solo next year is a really nice start.
His big thing to work on, varying his timing in the post and passing out of double teams (this 2nd part requires coaching of the rest of the players to recognize it and make themselves available accordingly)
So sometimes he goes fast, sometimes normal. Sometimes he will pass out, others he can force the issue.
