Championship is Tech's ceiling. Our's is 3rd round or worse with Buzz. Just can't recruit.

I can assure you these teams are spending a lot more on their basketball programs than we are. Like a metric ton more.

Nowhere close? They were 4 minutes away from the Final Four. That is the top 1% of the 365 division 1 teams. That is pretty freakin close.

Texas Tech got a giant easy path to an elite eight. One of the easiest I've ever seen.

It's not really that they don't care, it's that they don't care if we're not good. They'll tune in if we're good, and then whine when we lose a big game, but if we're not good they're not like upset about it like we are with football. And they don't like it enough to want to spend the kind of money it would take to be a great program.

The stupid decisions that we've made in football - buying a coach out for 70 plus million dollars has impacted what we can spend on other sports including basketball. I wish we had fans who cared about both sports doing well.

It was closer to 50 and we didn't have to pay it all up front. I think the rev sharing and increase in scholarships numbers are ,ore of an impact on the budget

Every A&M coach wants to win a Natty.
Every AD wants to win a Natty.
But the AD has limited dollars and every A&M coach wants more NIL money.

Too say they are satisfied with just making the tournament is silly.

If you have limited dollars, the AD has to make choices.
