I wouldn't be that upset with Hoidberg. I know he's been a big ball of suck at Nebraska.

Sounds too rich for Albert's blood
We'll probably hire a high school coach
List them in order for us peons please... Seriously though - very interested in your thoughts and apologies if you've listed them elsewhere.bobinator said:
For the record I'm not saying he's my first choice. Or even my fifth.

It's clear that the major donors and Trev don't care about winning anything. If they did, we wouldn't be in this suck of an athletic department or "cutting costs" BS.
They just care about keeping the gravy train going.
It's so "A&M" to get a coach that's coached here before, played here before, lived here before, etc.
We never win anything because we are never proactive and we reward coaches for winning nothing of consequence.
Early - had never been a HC, but he was a coach here. Got the head job. Many other interested applicants who were far more credentialed. And now you see our BB team suck.

I'd take TJ Otzelberger among others over Hoiberger.

Wanting Buzz to leave just to hire Hoiberg would be incredibly A&M
hardly. Hoiberg is the 15th highest paid coach in the country and makes more than Buzz right now. He just got an extension last year so in order to hire him you'd probably have to give him a bump of some sort(even if it isn't a big bump) which puts him right there with Beard, Oats and Pope.mncag said:
It would prove the Athletic dept is broke and has. No intent on winning in basketball
cause they both end in berger? Lordy, this is eye-opening.war hymn aggie said:
