pretty sure Jaden Brownell and the Allenspack kid are both coming. Both 6'9"+ guys who can shoot. Allenspack actually signed with Stansbury at WKU but when Rick retired he switched to Samford. Brownell averaged 14ppg in only 20 minutes per game this year while shooting 40% from 3.

Riley looks like a kid in my accounting 209 class when I was a freshman.

FWIW I think Cole coming too on his staff is absolutely huge. Someone familiar with the university is huge even if just for logistical purposes.

I choose to believe the karma ball swung back our way today.
I resolve in 2026 to be more tolerant and respectful of trolls and emotionally fragile, overly pessimistic posters so they don’t run crying to the mods and have me banned for three days.

I don't question midmajor guys averaging double digits with good FG% anymore after seeing how many of them do great after transferring to the power-4 teams.

As long as a poach top 3 guys from their previous schools, we'll be fine. It's the 4-9 roster spots that kill a good mid-major when they play P4 competition. If the depth doesn't hold up, they get destroyed.

We literally played big minutes to a guard/wing who shot free throws worse than Shaq. And another who was a brick layer from 3 for FIVE seasons.

Well the top four from Samford would have been a mix of starters and first off the bench for this year on Buzz's senior laden team.
