Actually it was good new today. We knew he wasn't coming to A&M. I was excited to see he didn't choose Maryland

Makes sense for Rencher. He is a Northern California kid and Washington has geographic proximity - plus ability to still play in a big time competitive conference.

Maryland was probably just too far away.

I sure hope we start seeing signs of recruiting efforts (and success) for the new Aggie coach beyond just bringing in his old players from Samford - or next year could be pretty bleak.

Next year is going to look pretty bleak no matter what at this point. Coaches who leave nothing behind who also leave late in the process cause the next year to be a mulligan.

He had recruits with him at the baseball game last night.

Your concern is noted. You just going to meander around complaining because your boy Buzz ain't here anymore and the majority of the board has moved on so quickly?

I'm sure Bucky will cobble together the best roster he can, but I am not expecting much next season.
