You certainly can't complain about the portal era and praise what Bucky has done in this offseason. Great job putting a roster together. Can't imagine what it felt like on day one when he had 1 person on the team.

Offseason begins

Some seemingly good stuff happens off the field for the Aggies

Unwarranted hype begins to build *(we are here)*

Aggie fan's expectations for upcoming season inflate to unreasonable levels relative to what reality tells us.

Outside media recognize Aggie fans have put the cart before the horse and stoke the flames of the eventual "shocking" collapse by beginning to pump up the Aggie teams chances as well.

Season begins poorly. Aggies recognize they may have been lying to themselves.

Team then overachieves during middle of season

Aggie fans sprint back to their pre-season paradise of delusion

Team falls back to regular form, loses almost all remaining games

Outside media and fans revel in the "epic collapse" that was only epic due to Aggies unrealistic expectations.

Season ends and Aggies vow to never fall into trap of unrealistic expectations again.

But seriously, the point is not that we're Secretariat, but that Mc Millan DEFINITELY has a hirse under him of the power he's never had before. We're all excited to see if he can handle it and it translates.
