See, these here rims in Reed Arena ain't no ordinary iron circles. Nay, they be forged in the fires o' Davy Jones' own blacksmith shop, tempered by the breath o' a thousand missed free throws an' quenched in the tears o' every visitor what dared hoist a jumper 'gainst the Aggies. They whisper, these rims...soft as a siren's song to the home crew in warm-ups, then turn snarling like a kraken when the lights come up an' the whistle blows. I've still not seen a miss on the official social media page. We've made every shot ever taken so far as im concerned. I expect that will be the case all season.

This was funny but you do know we replaced our baskets this year, and I believe it was with the ones from the Final 4 (I remember seeing that somewhere on here I believe). Regardless, they are new rims wherever they came from

The conclusion to take from that is there are going to be games that we automatically win because we shoot over 50% from 3. I don't think we ever could have said that about an Aggie team since the BK days.
