What is the percentage of shots that are blocked when a player is attempting a shot outside of the paint? i.e. a mid-range or 3 point shot

I swear this team and last year's team falls for the fake every time and Solo was one of the worst offenders. I'm guessing the percentage is low, but I'm not really sure.

My point being is that we shouldn't attempt to block the shot, but just put a hand in their face making it harder to make a shot.

2-4%. I think they're jumping to make the shot tougher. Not block it. Still we did foul a lot on jump shots. I'm more talking about the dumb reaching in which we did about twenty times.
