Lost to Quinnipiac and beat tOSU. Not sure what to expect here.

Strange team so far. They don't do anything particular well or particularly bad other than they're top 50 in offensive rebounding percentage. They're slow as hell so that will be interesting to watch. Corhen is almost averaging a double double but he's playing 35 mins a game, no way he can do that against us.

I like this matchup if we play well and don't let them bog us down. Pitt is probably about on par with FSU, bad major conference team but good enough to beat us if we don't play well or we let them dictate the game flow.

Jeff Capel is their coach so would expect tough nosed defense and board work and a lot of hustling, diving for balls, etc. Maybe kinda Buzz-like but better offensive sets

Will try to drag us into ugly-ball as bobinator suggests. If they are slow seems like the press would bother them. Did you mean slow paced or slow footed?

Only had 5 turnovers versus Oh St tho… five . That's a crazy stat. Average 12 turnovers per game.

Quinnipiac shot crazy good against them -57% from field

Lost to UCF by 11. UCF shot 53% from field . For comparison UCF shot 50% vs us.

I'm too lazy to look but what's the line? Also is this part of ACC SEC challenge?

Jeff Capel was the best player (except maybe for Cherokee Parks) on the worst team of Coach K's career. In fact that team was so bad that they finished last in the ACC, and Coach K quit mid-year so he could have back surgery and all the L's would get hung on his assistant. Capel's most famous play, the mid-court buzzer beater against UNC, forced a second OT, in which Duke lost to UNC, who went to the Final Four.
Okay, enough Capel smack. His brother Jason later went to UNC and had a nice career there.
