Seems like he's the fastest guy on the court and also the shortest. Why not have Dominguez throw it in on obvious foul situations and try and get it back?

Only advantage I can think of would be his speed on the immediate pass back to him
I also don't really know why we have Lane inbounding the ball though to be fair to him it hasn't really been a problem getting the ball in, it's what we do after that that gets dicey sometimes.
Right well he did have one bad throw in but he's just so fast and usally a dependable FT shooter/passer.
I almost which at end of game situation we could inbound it to him, due to his good FT shooting, but if they trap first he is also a good outlet for other player to pass it back to him.
You should NEVER throw it in directly under the basket when it is not a made shot where you can move up and down the baseline. You should step out for enough where you are not directly under the back board, so you have clear throwing lanes.
If yall haven't noticed, watch when we inbound the ball next game. We're obviously coached to stand inbounds until our play is set up so the refs don't hand us the ball and start the count but it's funny how much it annoys refs.
I noticed this pretty early on this season and most refs have allowed it to happen. The crew last night was having NONE of it, especially in the 2nd half.
Lane has a great assist to turnover ratio, and that's including all these inbounds passes. Some guys are just better than others at it than others, and I think Bucky likely find that Lane is one of those guys despite his stature.

Oklahoma was doing the same thing. I noticed them doing it first and thought WTH, some advantage? I don't think I've seen that before. But, there are a lot of things that I THINK I haven't seen before so there's that.
At least 1 time the ref set the ball down and started counting on OU inbounds
I thought the strategy of having your best passer inbound was pretty well established. No?
