That's a good listen. Very complimentary of Buckyball effect, crowd and Agee.

There were at least 4 turnovers that were directly attributable to the press. The 5 second in bound, 10 second half court, and the 2 sideline inbounds violations. None of those turnovers would have occurred if we didn't full court press the entire game nor would the wasted timeout in the final minute have happened. This style is effective, disruptive and promotes fan engagement. I loved Buzz but this is way more fun. I can't wait until next year when we have some more athletic bigs to plug into this system. In the meantime, fingers crossed that we make March Madness

Wife and I were talking about how we can make run if we can get in the dance. The kind of team that can be hard to prep for, can get hot, upset a better seeded team, and run deep if the stars align.

I found it on the Sooners athletic site home page.

At one point Moser can a lot of credit to the Reed atmosphere so it was hard to take anything seriously

Have you ever been to an OU home game? Probably one of the most dead arenas in the country, even when the Sooners are good.

I said it in the game thread- our atmosphere is awful. Starts with only ~65% full arena. Mix in the yell leaders which does not translate at all to basketball. It adds up to an experience that can't be hard for our visitors.

I've been in numerous other facilities and environments- ours is easily bottom third. It's better than it used to be (I guess?), but it needs help.

Aggie fans only show up if we are winning, and when they do, it can be loud and fun.

Disclaimer: I've lived >~500 miles away from Aggieland for the last 30 years, so most Aggie games I've seen were at Christmas or Thanksgiving breaks or on the road. But I have seen a couple of conference games in Reed (including today), and I watch every game. Our support is terrible.

Not denying that. I'm just saying that OU's environment is still worse. If we're in the bottom third, then OU is in the bottom 10%.

Fair. I'm probably going to road trip from Fayetteville this year for our game in Norman. I have low expectations. I'll also get to see the game in Fayetteville. Their environment is pretty good, though also suffering compared to their heyday. And their fans are the worst…

It's a good listen, he's a great coach and guy who understands the game.

I wouldn't mind having him on staff someday, though I'm sure some mid-major will hire after OU fires him. I think he's got a steep climb to be back there next year.

At the game yest and Poser and his staff were constantly on the refs hard (esp during TOs, always an asst coach in the refs ear and yelling). Mainly seemed to be about the full court press and constantly complaining how 'handsy' and physical our press was (they felt they were constantly fouled every time).

Poser super animated throughout the game and fun to watch some of his temper tantrums.

Atmosphere has improved and became decently loud at times, but driven by students and DJ imploring the rest of the crowd to do more than just watch (old ags like me not doing enough other than paying and donating money). It was not sustained loudness, but definitely a few times Reed had the energy it needed to be (a competitive team effort helps).

Buckyball seems to be generally a better product to watch vs boring buzzball (1:1 iso w 4 others watching a superstar burn the full shot clock). But that's me preferring constant motion and ball movement.

Team still needs some talent added as bigger/longer teams will dominate the boards (seemed OU controlled rebounding) as we are very dependent on outside shooting (amazed we won as 3 pt shooting was abysmal in the 1st half in general, but OU TOs kept us in the game). It became obvious that OU did a lot to make sure
Dominguez didn't get shots in the 2nd half (expect this to become common going fwd) and will watch who else can consistently shoot as it wasn't there yesterday (from 3).

Did see a few times the team started standing and watching 1 player (motion offense stopped and felt like Buzzball happening again) and thankful didn't last for extended time.

Hopefully team continues to improve as definitely impressive how Bucky is getting this much out of a team put together last second and the best player lost for the season.

I'd just like to go on record saying Moser's outfit at the game was horrible
