To answer the OPs question I would say the odds are very low but they're not zero.

I'll be driving down from Fort Worth. Might turn into a couple two tree days in a hotel depending on conditions.

Yes. Team spent the previous night in either Wichita or Tulsa, can't remember which one.

I assume they will fly in Friday afternoon/evening; it will be raining on them, but temps won't get below freezing in CS until Saturday night.

Getting out of town might be tougher for them, but getting to CS should be no issue at all. No chance they cancel. Maybe a slight chance they move the game up a few hours if it would allow USCe to get back home before the freezing rain comes?

I don't think it will begin to become a problem until well into Saturday night like after 9pm.

We went to that game. The players were not ready, the food they had for the team was awful, and we played terrible and lost. Then instead of spending that night we had to fly houston and bus to cs. Lots of stupid decisions.

My hopes please. Leave Klein in the AM, stop at Koppe Bridge @ 11:00 , park in the WCG for $5.00 and I'm happy then maybe leave a few mins early and head home.

I was working a game years ago at LA Tech in an ice storm. We had no power at the hotel or the arena for over 36 hrs. Power came back on two hours before the game and it was play on. The walk thru was in the dark and the Pre game meal was sandwiches that day.

I had to officiate a freshman game in a gym once where the heat was out and it was pretty cold outside (low 30s, at least). I would estimate no higher than mid-50s in the gym but it sure felt colder than that. Either for the second half or the second game of 2 (I don't remember) my co-official and I wore our jackets. One team was the home white with black/gold numbers and the other was predom red with yellow numbering and our jackets at that time were blue. Frankly, at that point, I didn't care much.

The varsity coaches were sitting together at the media table opposite the table, both of them (who I knew fairly well) were bundled up and asking me if we were plenty warm -- before we came out in our jackets. Out of all the **** I've taken on the court or field, I've never wanted to give a coach the finger more than I did that day! (One of the coaches and I had a good laugh about that years later).

Phoenix....great place to be this time of year. We lived in Chandler for 3 years.
