So I was noticing on tv the other night when our guys go to shoot a free through that the crowd/ students do a motion and say something maybe? Couldn't really tell but it looks cool and it seems like it goes super quiet in Reed?!

This and the Batt during intros are somehow the one thing that's made it through the years. Students hold their hands up in an A like the Aggies yell pass back.

But it gets WAY too quiet during our own free throws. I've said for years we need some students rubbing paper together or something to create a little bit of background noise.

yeah i always thought the eerie quiet when we shoot could be a bit unsettling to a shooter.

i wish we would all talk in a regular voice matter of factly so it just sounds like a regular crowded room.

Maybe everyone saying something like "yeah here we go again making another free throw" or "let's head over to the chicken after the game". whatever the hell you want.
