Khris has made an incredible amount of money in the league (probably gotta be something over 200 million?)

What a career he has had.

I hope the Mavs don't turnaround and trade him later.

Somebody said they expected him to be bought out which I didn't even know was a thing in the NBA.

he's getting paid $31 million this year to average 10ppg. He's probably pretty close to the end of his career.

Nico (former Mavs GM) officially the worst GM in the history of sports with AD getting traded today. Mavs appear to have got those Wizards players with the intent to let their contracts expire after this season to free up space for Free Agency.
Quote:

The Mavs also shed Hardy's $6 million salary and Russell's $6 million player option for next season in a trade built around the expiring contracts of Middleton, Branham and Bagley.

The Mavs dropped below the luxury tax this season with the trade, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks. Dallas' payroll next season dipped to approximately $150 million in guaranteed money, giving the Mavs flexibility in an offseason in which they will likely have another lottery draft pick.
