Really think this dude is a bit of an unsung hero tonight given that the offense just flowed better when he came in to compliment Hill and he has gotten up to this SEC speed a lot better these past handful of games. We didn't need him to be a superstar. We just needed him to be better than how turnover prone he was at first and he's been a lot more comfortable in this more physical style of SEC ball now.

He is a great defender
Bucky is wild man, he was ready to just ride or die with that lineup that was in at the end with Clemence, Holloway, Dibba, etc.
Why didn't Vinson play?!
Also- why does it seem like we don't have a point guard- Is it Lane, Isaac's, Holloway, Hill? We knew Taylor was our PG- what's up with this ?
Because Lane has been terrible lately and Isaacs hasn't been much better. One thing about Bucky is he's not going to ride the ship down. He's going to try something else if we're struggling even if there's a chance it's going
to make things worse.

Holloway brought it especially defensively. Lane is a good defender but against bigger guards Holloway may be the better option. I kept waiting for Holloway the out of control turnover machine to appear but it never happened. Bucky pushed the right buttons … barely but he did and that's what matters . Got the first of at least 3 critical wins needed down the stretch. Haven't watched Bucky's post game yet but I'm sure he was asked about it and addressed it. Anxious to hear why Vinson didn't play but maybe the question won't be asked .

Yeah I kinda think Federiko is finding his footing a bit. He was, good is too much but he was fine, again tonight.
He's more disruptive defensively than Vinson.
But man here we are needing 2-3 more wins to make the NCAA Tournament and Zach Clemence has become like a bedrock part of the team lately. This season has been an adventure.

Earlier in the year when watching a game with my kids I called Clemence a goober (mostly because of the propensity to foul and inability to make layups).
Tonight my son was like, "Dad, what got into the goober he's made like 3 layups tonight and just threw down a dunk."
Told him we might need to remove the goober tag now that he's single handedly keeping us afloat at times offensively. Seems as if for Clemence it was just a matter of getting enough game reps to start to build the confidence to be a consistent contributor.
Next evolution for him is to start helping us out on the boards a bit more.

My guess is analytics say to play more small ball and/or fed.
Clemence's play also has to have something to do with it. He's stepping up his physicality out there and becoming a real threat.
