Highly recommend the radio broadcast. The guys always crush it and it's a great option if you can't sit and watch the game. I know there's a couple different places to listen but the Varsity app has worked well for me and lets me listen through my phone on the road.

Yep, I really enjoy listening to them. So many games are when I'm busy cooking dinner or putting the kids to bed, so it's nice to have an earbud in listening. I always listen to the radio broadcast for football while watching on TV and it's so much better.

Agreed, Monaco is an elite announcer. Takes some effort to get TV and radio broadcast synced up but well worth it.

I also really enjoy Monaco. He's great in all sports - we are fortunate to have him.

Now...if we can just get him a decent color commentary partner in football and baseball, we'd be set.

My only beef with Monaco is that he makes a definitive statement, then turns it into a question. He does it in the Aggie basketball hour.

The sky is blue, correct?
We need to score more points than the other team, do we not?

Man, just say it

Leading questions to help the person he's interviewing. Common practice, especially if he and the interviewee don't have time to do a lot of prep work before the event.

Idk what it is that bothers me about it. I notice it in the radio broadcast also. I guess it makes it feel less conversational.

Like the ABH shouldn't be that formal. It's just the fellas talking about basketball. Make it sound and feel like a normal conversation.
