Agree! One of my favorite Aggie basketball players of all time.

His speed, ball skills, and effort on both offensive and defensive sides of the ball (getting back for a key block at the backboard during a critical game - can't recall which one at the moment) set a standard that few Aggie basketball players have matched.

Hope he is paid well for a long time!

Just looked up "standard NBA contract" and it looks like minimum salary is just short of 1.3 million annually. If that is correct, Q has done well for himself with all the hard work and persistence.

Many would agree that the Aggies EARNED an invitation to the NCAAT - especially with their late season play that included beating highly regarded Arky and Auburn in the SECT - but were robbed when the selection committee snubbed them.

However, they took the invitation they DID receive, to the NIT, and made it all the way to finals - barely losing to Xavier on a final Aggie basketball shot rolling out of the hoop.

That year, they were one of the last 6 NCAA Men's basketball teams playing (the NCAAT Final Four teams and the Aggies and Xavier).

I still argue that THAT season, ending with 27 total wins, was one of the most enjoyable seasons of Aggie men's basketball. Obviously, many disagree with me.
