Bucky met expectations but did not exceed.

Bucky had higher expectations for the team than those clowning him now???

We've VASTLY exceeded my expectations for the season when we hired Bucky. At that point I was just hoping for a .500 overall record and a reason to watch games in February/March. Hell, Nate Oats and Todd Golden were both right around .500 in their first years at Florida and Alabama.

Once the roster was set, my expectations raised just a little bit, and I was hopeful we'd be in this position come early March, but it still wasn't the expectation. We need to finish strong here though to keep momentum into the portal season and recruiting.

Holding judgement until the end of the season

Nah, we've exceeded my expectations. I thought for sure a common theme this year was to get run out of gyms and we've been right there in a handful of games at the end.

By far exceeded expectations..!!! We had one player on the roster and hired a coach from Samford with like 10 days on the portal… anyone who expected us to make the dance was out of their mind…

To win 20 games and 10 in SEC with wins on road vs tu which we haven't done in forever plus beat KENTUCKY and come within a few seconds of beating bama and Tenn on road is a heckuva first year..

Most expected season to be over mid Jan and we are going to make the big dance and with a favorable draw who knows we might win 1-2 games..!!!

I love Bucky and how he has embraced the traditions and reaches out to students and fans. He wants to build a champion at AM..
