Get there if you can!

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION The Texas A&M men's basketball team will host a Selection Sunday watch party on March 15 at The Green at Century Square as the Aggies await their seeding for the NCAA Tournament.

Fans are encouraged to join the Aggies at the event beginning at 3:30 p.m. with various yard games, face painting and gear for purchase available. The selection show will begin promptly at 5 p.m. The watch party is open to the public and there is not cost for admission. Prior to the selection show event, the program will hold a ticketed Texas Aggies United Pre-Event VIP Experience at The George Ball Room. More information and tickets for the VIP Experience can be found here. Both events on Selection Sunday will occur rain or shine barring an appearance in the SEC Tournament championship game Sunday in Nashville.

No thanks, I'm not at all interested in this team having to play 5 games in 7 or 8 days

That brings up an interesting version of the "one and done in NCAAT versus deep run in NIT" question:

Would you rather have the Ags make a magical run in Nashville in Bucky's first year to steal the SECT Championship from the likes of Arky, Bama and Florida if that meant they were too tired to win even one game in the NCAAT?

Or do you prefer they lose early in the Conference Championship Tournament to then perhaps win one or even two games (getting to the Sweet 16 in that case) in the NCAAT?

I mean, it would be really hard to pass either of those up, but while I have loved our previous S16 runs and getting to the second weekend does so much for a team's national recognition, it would be amazing to be able to hoist a trophy in Bucky's first year, especially considering the caliber of teams we would be facing.
