My unimaginative but still competitive primary ESPN bracket has all four 1 seeds going to the final four. So, I have Michigan and Duke tonight along with Iowa State and Michigan State.

My South regional bracket is dead. In addition to missing out on Florida, I picked UofH over ILL. A strong year for the Big 10. Did anyone have Iowa in the Elite 8?

I had Houston and Florida in the elite 8 on almost every bracket.

Same here. I assume the only people who have Iowa in the Elite 8 are Hawkeye fans. As to your question on whether they stand a chance against Illinois, I'm going to say, "No." Seems like their luck has to run out and, on the other hand, ILL has been underestimated. As others have said, the Illini look like (and for sake of their bigs basically are) a pro European team. They will be a tough out against Duke (? - if they get there) in the semifinals.

Yes if they make their shots. I know typical answer but if Houston had made shots early in the game, it might have been closer.

They certainly gave other teams good scouting report on how to beat Illinois. Got to speed them up and press them.

I said weeks and weeks ago that there were 6 elite teams that could win it all. Those were Michigan, Arizona, Duke, Illinois, UConn, and Florida. Florida was the only team to **** the bed. At least the team they lost to has continued its run.

Duke and UConn will have to eliminate one but I think all of the remaining elite teams make the final four. Might be a little too perfect of a prediction.
