IF UT is going all in will this be the last year for Rick Barnes? 71, having the same issue as his last orange team, he builds up expectations and becomes a victim of his own success again, can't get over the hump.

He definitely has some shot makers on this team. That's been his problem at Tennessee is his teams just can't put the ball in the basket reliably enough and it costs them in the NCAA Tournament.

Most of these rankings aren't factoring in Bryson Warren.

On3 has us at 17, not including Warren.

We're probably pretty close to a lot of these teams on roster cost.

As people have mentioned, we're also adding back in Mgbako, who for all real purposes didn't play last year.

How do these programs - or do these programs - insulate injured athletes from Daddy Warbucks? The benefactors have zero financial motivations. They are just trying to buy wins, and then their thoroughbred goes down. Pretty huge conflict of interest re: player health.

Pretty simple. Big donor buys a new stud for sport ball glory. Said stud gets hurt and stuck in the stable. Donor just shelled out, and now gets nothing. Big donor wonders how bad the injury is. Can't the kid play? I mean, how long can shin splints really take to heal? Is a turf toe really that bad? Is he just sand-bagging because of the draft? I bought this kid myself, don't I have a say when he plays?

Nike doesn't care.
