Amusement park in PA prominently displaying their Texas A&M prizes for the carnival games. One game only had Texas A&M and Florida prizes. Other schools at some of the other games included Georgia, Utah, Virginia, and Nebraska. Lots of people picking the A&M and Florida prizes though. In fact, this week it seemed as though 80% of the people winning prizes were picking Texas A&M pillows. I will try to get pics the next time I am there.

Anything but Penn State gear, it appears.

One of the sporting clothes store at a local mall has an A&M shelf! Not large shelf, but still!! I was like, what that....?!? ( but in a good way!!)

AAM02, Dorney Park. I am going there tomorrow. Will take pics of various stands to show how the Ags/SEC have taken over. It used to be Duke, UNC, Penn State, Ohio State, and Michigan stuff but no longer. Saw a kid carrying out a Tennessee basketball and another one with an Auburn pillow.

It's a little bit confusing now because it wasn't too long ago that if you saw someone with an A&M item, you could be at least 95% sure they or a family member went to A&M. I really hope the University and the Athletic Department make the most out of this SEC move. So far though, it looks like it is working out just fine.

Last time I was up there at Hershey Park (2009) I saw nothing but PSU and tu stuff. I would be thrilled if we are spreading our brand up there now.

Just thought it was interesting that A&M's increased visibility is having an impact all the way up here. It's July. I'm sure there will be plenty of "smack" on this board come September. Calm yourself.

Could it be that the explosion in O&G work in PA has drawn a large enough contingent of Texans/Ags to the state for work that it's now profitable to carry A&M merchandise up there?

Just a guess on my part, but it would explain the presence of A&M stuff in a state as far off as PA.
