Just moved to Starkville for grad school. Is that sign off of 25 or is it in Columbus?

I believe the sign is in Columbus at the Waffle House near the mall.

Yeah this sign is over my Leigh Mall here in Columbus. This waffle house is not so good...I prefer the Huddle House.

Haha, forget Waffle House, a Huddle House lets you know you are in the deep south!

Old Hickory down there used to be a great hole in the wall place to get a good meal. Harvey's is one of my favs but haven't eaten at one in Columbus in awhile. One here is excellent.

No one goes to Huddle Houses anymore.

So what are the best options in Starkville? Don't know anyone here and my wife and I have already tried Little Dooey. Btw Barbeque sauce here is almost too sweet.

Oby's has pretty good food. When I'm in Starkville (which is alot) I like to go there for lunch. Good po-boys.

Other pretty good non-chain restaurants in Starkville:

Harvey's (On 12 close to campus)
Mugshots (downtown)
The Vernada (little expensive but pretty good, near vet school)
City Bagel Cafe (good place for lunch, different sandwiches on your choice of bagel, over by Little Dooley's)
Central Station Grill
Stromboli's
Cappe's Steakhouse (good place for lunch)

There is some others, but those are the ones that come to my mind.

Strombolis is a religious experience. Just sayin.

Haven't been to Columbus in years. Is a MSCW student ID still good enough to get into the O'Club? Does the BOQ still look like the aftermath of a frat party on Sunday mornings?

I am also going to MSU now to get prerequisites out of the way for dental school and am actually eating a delicious crawfish poboy as I type. Delicious. I've been here 4 times in the past week and can't order anything else.
City bagel is delicious and little dooeys has some good BBQ, though Corkscrew's in the Woodlands blows it out of the water.
