For $300 like I'm paying. I've been a Directv customer for quite a few years and they don't do much at all for existing customers as far as promos, but it doesn't hurt to ask I guess.....good luck!

just call them up and tell them you are switching providers because your not happy with their service. Usually gets their attention. Or cancel then resign up.

I am thinking of getting satellite, but for those of you who already have it, who do you use for internet? Direct TV doesnt have internet right?

I am in central Austin if anyone has suggestions.

If your going to be a new directv customer. Get the best DVR they have (itll be discounted, whereas the good one will be discounted to zero.) I wish I had upgraded for around $200 up front instead of refusing to pay $500 for the same thing now. Oh and contact me and use me as a referal, itll save us both $100 over 10 months.
