With the possible exception of their basketball coach being a bit out there sometimes ( like the time he got in a tussle with Joakim Noah over a basketball), you will find it nearly impossible to hate Vanderbilt over anything. Their fans don't talk smack, they run their programs with integrity (they don't even have an AD, it's their prez), they don't complain and they help the conference academically. Plus Nashville is a fun town. And James Franklin is a heck of a coach.

Naww, Vandy scored a bucket, we went to inbound it ( this was at Vandy so the teams are under the basket) and stallings picked up the ball and wouldn't give it to Noah, he played keep away, turned his back with it when Noah tried to get it... finally Noah knocked the ball out of his hands and the refs separated them. The weird part is that stallings wasn't calling a timeout or wanting to complain about a call, he was just being pouty for some reason. It wasn't a big deal, just kind of odd.

What has James Franklin accomplished that their last coach didn't? Just because he runs his fat, fuukin mouth means he's a good coach?

Most Vandy grads don't even like Nashville. The grads have a "Get Out of Nashville" party every year. Most are a bunch of little Yankee transplants. They think they are Ivy League, yet Harvard, Yale, etc. think very little of them.
