I am hoping to go to a few tailgates this year and would like to know what to look for from some of you seasoned SEC Vets...

All of them have cool people to tailgate with but LSU has the best food and UK has the best booze. For atmosphere it is hard to go wrong with Bama or UT but I like the mom and pop schools like MSU and USC because their fans passion exceeds the "show" part of college football. I think when A&M folks tailgate with MSU and USC they will feel the most similar.

Hard to have a top tailgate list and not include the Grove at Ole Miss. Pretty special atmosphere there. Alabama can be a huge experience as well. Just my two cents.
