Sweet tea does suck as does sweet cornbread and BBQ with sweet sauce.

Texas is definitely southern. We are unique, but we are still southern, geographically, historically, politically. The line is blurred a little bit in terms of culture. East Texas is definitely southern. Dallas and Houston are both southern cities. More like Charlotte and Atlanta. San Antonio, Fort Worth, and El Paso, are more western, but fewer Texans live in those great cities, and west of 35, than in Dallas and Houston, and east of 45.

Texas may include the South, but the South does NOT include Texas.
