Here's a message from the Tupelo CVB:

Hello to the 12th Man in Aggieland and welcome to the SEC! My name is Seth Gaines and I am the Director of Sports Development for the
Tupelo Mississippi Convention and Visitors Bureau.

I invite you to stay with us in Tupelo when you are planning your trips to Oxford and Starkville for your games this fall. Tupelo is only an hour drive from both Ole Miss and Mississipppi State, and most of, if not all, the drive is on a 4 lane divided highway.

Our many local restaurants have encouraged me to let you know that they will be having Friday and Saturday night live music, and great specials on the weekends.

Tupelo is the birthplace of the Elvis Presley. The King's Birthplace and Museum is a great visit when you come to Tupelo. Also, the church that he grew up attending has been moved to the grounds and is now an interactive attraction.

I hope we can count on y'all to be Ole Miss fans this weekend as we try to beat the Longhorns!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about Tupelo.

Thanks,

Seth Gaines
