Most of the sentiment seems to be that Jeff Long should be canned and sent packing out of town. Personally, I think that he made the only real move he could've had with Pacino, but the sheer desperation that I hear from Hog fans is pathetic and sad. Do folks here think that Jeff Long should've let Petrino go?

Long didnt have any choice in canning Petrino. Lying about having your mistress on your Harley and wrecking it while getting a handjob was nothing. Hiring her unqualified ass for a job over 200 applicants got him canned.
