22-36 as a head coach without Cam Newton. I kind of feel bad for the man, but the truth is he's been in over his head since day one at Auburn. He never should have been given the chance to be an SEC HC after what he did at Iowa State.

Forgone conclusion that he's gone at the end of the season? I think so.

You are right. He can be bought out at $7.5 on Dec 1. I have a feeling he's gonna be Auburn's HC for at least one more season unless a home run hire is available.

There's his contract. I didn't read a word of it. But if he's fired he won't get 6 or 7 mil. That buyout I believe is what another team has to pay AU to get Chizik.

He's owed $500,000/yr left on his contract. That's the base salary. His original contract expired in 2013. Did he get an extension?

If so, maybe they upped the "buy-out"?

Hmm. Looks like his base may be $3.5M now and it's through 2015. I guess his contract isn't incentive based anymore.
