Why doesn't dtv ever do anything for existing customers? Guess i'll have to go cable for a while and then come back, maybe

Are the receivers wireless?

...good to know.

There is the main system hooked up to your main TV then the clients are connected thru the coax cable in your house but you don't have any extra wires added to the client tvs. The only extra thing added to my house was a coax cable to hook up the Internet part of the system, which enables on demand content and you can set your DVR over 3G with your phone

I don't have a coax in my bedroom. Uverse is the only provider that has wireless receivers. Hoping Directv will get them some day

How does this work for tailgating? Can you take client receiver to the tailgate?

Good point Agsteve. May be time to go cable. I like DTV but they make getting support very hard. I have had it for many years but becoming more frustrated.
