Last Saturday, the Fightin' Texas Aggies eased into Starkville, muzzled the Bulldogs, chained them up in their own backyard and Beat the Hell outta Mississippi State.
This week, our #15-ranked Fightin' Texas Aggies travel to the “Druid City” and home of Stillman College, to take on the #1-ranked Crimson Tide of the University of Alabama.
This is the Aggies first trip to Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and only the 5th meeting between the two teams. The Red Laundry Detergent hold a 1-3 advantage and the Aggies are looking to shore up the sandbags, stem the Tide and remind them that “The Bear” was our coach first.
Last week, the Elephants staved off the Swamp Kitties in a grueling, emotional come-from-behind victory, and the Aggies intend to do what the Fightin’ Mad Hatters were unable to do and finish the job.
Johnny Football and the Boys want to repeat what happened 10 years ago this week, when the Reggie McNeal-led Aggies, guided by a young, up and coming Offensive Coordinator upset the #1-ranked Oklahoma Sooners. That young, up and coming Offensive Coordinator was none other than Coach Damn, K-Smooth, KDS, Coach Kevin Damn Sumlin.
