Bunch of horse **** calls trying to protect their national championship contender.

How about letting the teams settle it on the field?

Four penalties have been called on each team. 32 yds against A&M and 40 yds against Bama.

Just stating the facts:

Both teams have been called for 8 penalties each. 52 yds against A&M and 90 yds against Bama.

I am not saying that they are or are not being fair. However, as a coach I HATE when people talk about the number of penalties called on each side.

If one side is fouling more, then that # should not be equal..regardless of if it is or not.

The offensive PI was BS, and they allow a lot more holding in the SEC, but other than that he game was well called.

I agree, the offensive PI was very nit-picky and should not have been called. There was a helmet to helmet on Eddie Lacy that should have been called in my opinion.

They did allow a good bit of holding on both sides but I don't really think they favored either team.

Grats to A&M on a very nice win.

The only bad calls I saw all game were the offensive PI call on Evans, and the non-call on our D for a hit above the shoulders. On the previous drive Bama was flagged for 15 for a hit on Swope that was nearly identical to the hit our D made that didn't get called. Well officiated game all around

You are being paranoid. If the SEC really wanted to protect Bama, the refs would've never called that neutral zone infraction that ended the game.

Bama was holding all day long. How many did they get called for?

Horrible officiating all around...

The offensive PI on Evans was an awful, awful call.

The lack of holding calls was a complete joke. Spencer Nealy was holding arms up showing the refs he was being held, but they continually ignored it. I'm all for letting the kids play, as I hate having laundry on every play, but you have to call something when a team continually gets a competitive advantage when you're not making calls.

The neutral zone infraction was the right call. It couldn't have gone any other way.

Ags, they actually do let them settle it on the field here. We got away with a couple too.

Probably a little more in Bama's favor, but we are the new kids. Regardless, we out performed them and the final score indicated as such.

move on.

Some missed/bad calls on both sides, but as that neutral zone infraction showed we are no longer in a conference where one team consistently gets calls. We need to get over that. Hard after decades for dealing with bigWTF ref screw jobs, but we are not there any more.

I honestly thought there was a little "protecting the number 1 conference team" ref love, but that really goes out the window when the refs call a neutral zone infraction to seal the game.
