Living here in the Chattanooga area, I know fans and graduates from both AU and 'bama.

Almost to a man, each has said to me, " Now you will learn to hate [fill in the other teams name]. They are awful fans and just suck, yada, yada.

Funny thing is, was at both AU and 'bama and had gracious fans at both and not jackasses that I saw.

Their hate for each other is real and not just on game week...

Was in Auburn for the A&M game... Watched the whole thing with Auburn fans at a tailgate. I was a rockstar at the bars that night... A few of their fans even wrapped boomers corner.. I was also told that nobody was watching their game when it started because everyone was watching the scoreboard. Supposedly the whole place erupted in cheers when they showed the final
