Call me crazy, but I am also thinking he is going to get an amazing offer and he will be in Cleveland.
He was the Dc in Cleveland a long time ago when belechik was there as hc.
He likes building up teams to HIS liking. That's nearly impossible to do that with a pro team where players are locked into contracts. He can't exactly trade 'em all!

I think he thought he wanted to do NFL then saw how little control he has over his talent when he was there. I just can't see him doing that again, specifically at his age. Maybe if Bama gets into similar trouble to USC when Pete Carrol left.

I suspect because he wants to prove he's the best. Most great men do. However, I don't think he'll leave Alabama just yet.
I suppose, but I'm sure Steve Spurrier could give Saban some sound career advice concerning jumping from a premier college job to the NFL.

Rumor has it that Tennessee alum Jimmy Haslam, who owns the Browns, is wanting to lure Saban out of Tuscaloosa and has offered Jon Gruden a share of the Browns if he accepts the UT job. I would not put it past Ha-SLAM, baby - you f*** with these guys and they f*** back!
