I've got a lot of game day hate for the Hogs going back to the 80's battles in the old SWC.

I was at their spring game a couple weeks ago. They looked awful. Granted they can make adjustments between now and then, but they couldn't defend any kind of pass.

I grew up a Hog fan, and I want to see them do well when they aren't playing A&M, but I honestly will be shocked if they win more than 6 this year. The talent is just not there, and I'm not sold on Bielema.

Bielema is a good coach, and I think Arkansas should be grateful to have him. But, the fanbase there better be prepared for an uphill battle. He is attempting to win with a gameplan that has him in direct competition with the kind of athletes that Alabama and LSU also want. He can no longer even hold on to all the best athletes in the state (which produces very few major D-I prospects anyway). Arkansas can do well, if they have patience, but their delusional fans are wrong if they think they are gonna smack down A&M year in and year out. Those days are OVER, my friend.

Is Brandon Allen whom they are going with at QB?

Brandon Allen appears to be the guy. Mitchell transferred out so that really only leaves Allen. Of course, if the Hog O-line doesn't get it together, then it may not matter much who is taking snaps.

I wanted to touch on that earlier when I posted. I also don't think much of Allen

Time will tell but he took over a program on cruise control from Alvarez, so now is a chance to prove himself.
