Looks like the 9 game conference schedule is gaining momentum.

And I will go ahead and point out some flaws with your post to beat all the others that will...
1. Already been posted...many times.
2. BleacherReport
3. A&M didn't drop those opponents (especially USC)
4. SEC just voted against expanding conference schedule.

Oregon is still on the schedule per Hyman and Oregon's AD.

USC contract was never finalized because USC's AD showed just how kalifornian he is by refusing to sign the contract when BB leaked the series early.

The current USC AD is Pat Haden; the issue you are referring to happened under Mike Garret I believe.
