Every EFFING time the money men extend the head football coach's contract - and raise his salary - before the season ends THEY JINX THE HELL OUT OF US. EVERY EFFING TIME!!! And don't give me the "But we didn't want Elko to go to another school" BS! If he'd have known the reason we needed to wait, and he really loves our boys, he would have waited. This happens EVERY FLIPPING TIME! EVERY TIME!!!!!

Penn State was going after Elko pretty hard. Ags had to do something.

you're wrong and it's just silly for several reasons.

a. there is no such thing as a jinx that's delusional fan fantasy excuses
b. it's not your money
c. if you wait until a coach is 100% proven you won't have them when they are
d. he was/is a hot commodity and people would have tried to lure him
e. we have to keep him among the highest paid coaches if we are an elite program
f. it doesn't matter it clearly did not preclude us from moving on from any previous coach when we wanted to or needed to. quite frankly we can afford to pay it and any buyout if we are wrong.
