Just saw Naquin work a walk at the Indian/mariners game out in phoenix for spring training.... Didnt even kbow he was with the tribe

He was a first round pick of the tribe.

Dam he had a big arm this is similar to Nick Banks he did the same thing and the old 3b did that who played with Naquin.

Brooks Kieschnick did this successfully with the Brewers a decade or so ago after washing out of the league as a 4th outfielder

Wasn't it Tyler that had a penchant for throwing batters out at FIRST that thought they'd hit a single to short right, until Tyler shocked them with his quick reactions and laser throw? Think I saw him do it at least three times in one season.

For sure. He'd also "bobble" it on purpose to see if they were dumb enough to try for 2. Watching him throw lasers from RF to 3rd was 10x worth the price of admission.

He threw guys out going first to third a lot. Or trying to tag up from second to go to third. He would throw a frozen rope from the right field wall to the third baseman's glove with deadly accuracy and blazing speed. Eventually, teams just stopped trying to take an extra base on him which was the utmost respect. He'd still make the throw just to show them that he could. Was so fun to watch him.
