Sounds like some BMAs want to make a statement.

So there's always that ~20% probability of the big name.

I think we get an established manager, bring back Earley, and work on bringing back the players. That is a significant win as far as I am concerned. We have a fanbase motivated and ready to fund the **** out of baseball, so we'll be in very good shape.

Or its Earley as HC and they want to identify the Associate Head Coach / Recruiting Coordinator role to make sure we don't name Earley HC and he can't get the top notch Assistants we need.

I don't have a clue, but are they trying to put together a full coaching staff before they announce the HC?. Not saying the HC isn't having a say in his staff, but do they just want it a done deal so they can all hit the ground running?

Maybe it's nothing , but Earley's Twitter "X" profile still lists him as Aggie Coach. I feel like if he has personally made up his mind that he's gonna reside in ATX , then he would've changed it by now. , but who knows. Maybe it's nothing. Maybe he just forgot his password to his account.
