I think we should go all in on returning to great Aggie baseball traditions that d-bag coach tried to squash.

My recommendation? Early next season - have a DD Grubbs guest PA day at Olsen.

I'd fly in for it!!!

Nothing against the current PA but if you weren't there for DD back in the day, you have missed a first ballot hall-of-fame announcer. OP is only asking for a one day guest spot not a full time replacement.

We need to make this happen.

I know. It takes multiple people with high quality equipment to do what DD did by himself with a cassette player and a microphone. It makes what he did all the more remarkable.

PS. I also get that some of his work wouldn't fly in this day due to political correctness.

Rick and Mike did it all by themselves until the athletic department made the change to "music operator" for baseball.
