Even then, they still have Cain who is an elite recruiter, Weiner who is considered one of the best pitching coaches in the country, and they just flipped Chuck Box to the dark side.

Yes we got some great players back, but the rest of the players in the country are developing and will be ready to challenge.

POS was able to get three high school pitchers that had committed to A&M to follow him to Austin; Sam Cozart, Jack Paris (also plays 1B) and Grady Westphal. That is not insignificant but you know the sippie fan base was expecting a good portion the this year's squad to follow.
Did you really expect non of the recruits to switch. Now remember this is how we found out what he was doing. He started recruiting them to Texas over two months ago. And none of them have actually played for him.
Pretty sure they got Jadyn Furgason as well, so 4 pitching commits.
Edit. What I find fascinating is that the recruit pitchers are all following him. ...but those that have actually worked under Weiner (or maybe Schloss) vehemently declined to follow him.

Odds say only 1 will pan out
Aren't all of these 2025 commits? So 5 months until early signing day and 1 or 2 of those are highly likely to get drafted high enough they never make it to campus.

No, they can't yet. They're 2025 guys. As Dub said, they're good and a couple might get drafted. But that's not a bad thing. As a Top 10 team you should always be fighting to get kids on campus that the MLB wants.MagnumLoad said:jkag89 said:
