It's about time we have another great leader in General Welsh.

He's not an Aggie BUT If you haven't seen his Muster speech, it's golden and you'll know he bleeds maroon.

General Welsh was an outstanding leader as a 4 star in the Air Force. I have only heard good things about him as a human being. We are very blessed to have him as President of Texas A&M

The 1 thing I got from this press conference is I feel really good about where we are with both our President and Athletic Director.

It might be the first time since I officially became an Aggie I could say that about both.

That's the first time I've heard a speech by General Welsh. It might be time to start donating to the university again…

From the press conference today. "People who love their families, tend to be loyal"

Hot damn that was SPICY from General Welsh and I loved it!

His Father and Son were both Aggies and in the Corps of Cadets. He's an Aggie in my book!

I would extend that sentiment down through our now current coaching staffs. We seem to truly have a group of selfless leaders finally who want to pour themselves into these young people vs. making everything about themselves.

It's a great time to be an Aggie but I also encourage all of us to now rally and support this University and this leadership team. Not everyone can be a BMA but we have so many alumni and supporters out there now. It's time for all of us to step up and do what each of us can to propel this place to an elite level.
