Not only sippie but at least a few Ags. I remember at least one thread asking if POS's tenure was worth it since him leaving for Austin was going to set back the program at least 10 years.

There was a lot of people on this board crying and assuming the worst. But most of them were truly only bandwagon fans.

If he took those with eligibility and left the cupboard bare, as it were, then there would be justifiable fears.

Given the portal rules and the timing, if we didn't act fast we could have been gutted hard. We would have had to find a coach and get him recruiting ASAFP to fill the roster and avoid being the basement of the SEC next season.

Calling everyone who was concerned a "fairweather fan" is nonsense. We are in the hardest league and we witnessed LSU go from Omaha contender to struggling to stay above .500 by losing 2-3 guys. And we were at risk of losing, what, 8 guys?

You are OUT OF YOUR MIND if you think we bounce back quickly after a coup like that.

The entire coaching staff left along with the entire team hitting the portal. If yall want to say you were calm cool and collected because you knew this was the final result then I call you crazy. It was a bad 48 hours and a little panic wasn't undeserved.
