Cortez is going to be in an MLB bullpen in the fall, not in College Station, and I can't wait to watch him
Cortez with his Nuclear Arm needs to go pro. I love the thought of him coming back but if he deserves to get paid and take his talents to the next level.

He needs just a skosh more control. I don't think it would take him long to get there, but I agree, he will go down for a bit, then come up (hopefully quickly).

I'm not a 100% sure it's in his best interest to go pro. I get that he may get more innings to pitch in game in the minors but at the end of the day it's about who's going to be developing you the best to shorten the time it takes for a call up

I think there is no way he doesn't go.
We got him to come over after the Florida game in Omaha to sign some kids hats next to us. He was more than happy to come over and can tell he genuinely appreciated it and loved talking with the kids. Solid guy.

He has the biggest chance and negotiating power this draft. He can always come back but you don't find too many kids who throw 102 from the stretch with knock out slider.
It's important we put guys in the league for recruiting purposes too. Go get yours CC and represent Aggies
Saw one one of his wild balls ear hole a State player in Hoover this year. Wasn't sure the dude would stay on his feet. Guarantee he had a bad case of whiplash. Love Chriswish him the very best and will be watching for him.
The odds arent zero, but they probably round to zero. Look forward to adding him to my "Ags in the MLB" card collection.
