Hard to say but getting top talent helps. A guy like Monty is a pro 24/7 and works like it, external influence be damned. Reminded me of Christian Kirk, a guy who worked so hard and wanted to be so good he drank liver shakes for recovery.

Also HC is just one part of the puzzle. I don't think guys call the S&C coach when they need sympathy...

This team was just one run shy of a national championship. I don't think motivation is going to be an issue.
