Anybody else not ready to quit talking baseball? Don't get me wrong, Aggie football has always been my main squeeze, but I just want to hear these experts talk about the pitchers we flipped from tu and whether Aschenbeck is coming back. The past few months of baseball has been one of my favorite seasons of sports in my lifetime.

SEC Media days all football and I still just want baseball

Same here. Honestly, it's hard to get excited about football anymore. My interest in it declines every year.
To be honest there has been very little real football talk at the SEC media days. Man the media questions are all over the place and getting worse every year.

After two days, pretty boring. Main topic is the difference in schedules. OUs hard. Mizzou easy. Georgia hard but they are Georgia.
Cole Cubical and Jordan Rodgers have been the only two talking real football talk.
Dusty the new OU guy is horrible. Joe Tes only pushes what story ESPN tells him to do.
Everything you said is spot on. Rogers gave his top QBs. He ranked Weigman 5 and said he could easily rank him 3. The only ranking questioned was Weigman, by Tessatore. Remember, he was the original "Texas is Back" guy, when the sips beat Notre Dame.
I'm not going to pretend I'm excited about football, but I'm doing alright. I've been watching a lot of MLB games the last few weeks.
I went to a Royals game earlier this month and am going to a AA Springfield Cardinals game next week. I'm pumped about this game. I could afford to splurge at a AA ballpark and will be sitting in row 1 of the "Redbird Roost."

Joe Tess might be my least fav college football personality at this time.
Last year in the ACC champ game he was announcing all he did was state why FSU should not make the playoff. If I were an FSU fan and had run into him I might have punched him. He's so over the top and doing what he's told to do it's beyond annoying.
Today he and Dusty were pushing the red River game as the top rivalry. I get they love the whole 50-50 but I think home and away is better. It actually causes real hate.

Gun to my head, I would choose for A&M to win a national title in this order:
1. Baseball
2. Men's baseball
3. Football
And I am not even kidding. I've felt this way since I was a kid in the '70s and I still feel that way today. I love Aggie football, but nothing like I love Aggie baseball. Honestly, the gap between 1 and 2 on that list is Grand Canyon-esque.

And by 50-50 you mean 50% red and 50% empty.
I agree. I want a little more baseball and looking forward to a post draft baseball segment to discuss how well the Aggies and other teams came out of the draft. It sure does seem the Aggies are loaded for next year.

All kidding aside… sadly i feel like men's basketball will be the hardest and we have the least amount of culture in. But my favorite of the 3 is the one that's playing at the moment.

I'm with ya OP. Normally, this time of year I'd be salivating for football, but still have baseball on my mind too. I wasn't ready for that season to end. Looking forward to 2025 and heading back to Omaha.
I should be ready to BTHO Notre Dame soon though.

I was pleasantly surprised sip boy Acho had been missing from media days. Nope, he of course shows up today. He's actually worse than Dusty.

I love A&M sports.
Track, softball, women's basketball, golf. All of those teams have given great memories over the years, and a natty here and there.
I hope that men's baseball, basketball, and football bring home some big trophies before I croak. The players and fans and everyone who has tried so hard over the years to improve our programs really deserve it.
