I know Yeskie has a great reputation from his time at OSU, but his 2 years at A&M sucked and his 1 year at LSU wasn't very good from what I could tell. I wouldn't let my son go play for him. From what I can tell, most LSU fans would swap pitching coaches in a heartbeat.
Losing Cooper hurts, but if we're going to lose him and have to play him, at least it's to a pitching coach who has shown (at least recently) he will do less with more.

He's referring to Ethan Clauss, a 2025, from Nevada. Position player (SS). Clauss decommitted from us as soon as POS announced he was headed to sip. So, technically he already wasn't currently committed to us. Top 50 nationally in his class. Maybe he doesn't make it to campus.
Who gives a s###. Move on.
FWIW, I know Yeskie had a bad year the last year he was here but the A&M pitchers loved him according to their parents. Yeskie preferred working with Jay Johnson as I don't think he and Coach S saw eye to eye. Coach S did not help the confidence of several of our pitchers with the way he spoke to them and treated them according to player parents.
